Across the 48 US ingredient lists we checked, essential oils turned up only in the Cleansing Oil, the Brightening Ampoule and two BALANCEFUL cleansers, as well as the BALANCEFUL Trial Kit containing the Cleansing Gel, but not in the lip products.
- What the oils are: jojoba, olive and macadamia seed oil in both, plus baobab seed oil in SOLID IN. These are carrier oils, not essential oils.
- What "fragrance-free" can mean here: only that no Fragrance or Parfum appears in the US list. It does not mean the formula is free of every plant ingredient.
- Cracked, sore or bleeding lips: a lip essence is a cosmetic and does not treat skin problems. Ask your GP or a pharmacist.

Which One Should You Choose, and Can You Wear It Overnight?
Our suggestion: choose SOLID IN for the ceramide formula aimed at dry, flaky lips, or CELLMAZING for the brand's plumping claim. Torriden's US site says to use either when lips need extra hydration during the day. The points below cover their different claims, shade information and overnight use:
- Dry or chapped lips: SOLID IN, which the brand pitches at that need.
- Fuller-looking lips: CELLMAZING, which the brand says helps lips look fuller and bouncier.
- Shade: the US pages describe both as lip essences; we could not confirm that either is tinted.
- Overnight: Torriden's US site specifically suggests layering SOLID IN before sleep as a lip sleeping mask. Its CELLMAZING instructions mention extra hydration throughout the day but give no overnight tip.
